Before services can be received, potential clients are assessed either directly by contacting the YP Community Transport office or if you are over 65, you can request services from us through the My Aged Care Portal www.myagedcare.gov.au.
The South Australian Patient Assistance Transport Scheme provides country patients and approved escorts with some reimbursement of the cost of travel and accommodation when they are required to travel over 100 kilometres (each way) to receive specialist medical treatment. For more information, including details on how to apply, visit www.countryhealthsa.sa.gov.au and follow the links under SERVICES to the PATS page.
