YP Community Transport (YPCT) is an incorporated association governed by a Board of Management. A not-profit community-based organisation, YPCT helps approximately 3,000 transport-disadvantaged clients to destinations throughout the beautiful Yorke Peninsula and to other South Australian locations such as Port Pirie and Adelaide. YPCT is an accredited Community Passenger Network ‘driven’ by the involvement of volunteers who deliver a range of transport options.
We operate as a direct provider of community transport options or as a broker with other transport providers, to meet individual client needs wherever possible. Our main office is situated in Minlaton. YPCT is funded by Commonwealth & State funding, and we enjoy the generous support of theYorke Peninsula agencies listed in the Funding and Support section.
YP Community Transport is a stand-alone incorporated association under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985, managed by a Board with 9 directors, comprising representatives of our funding bodies, local councils, volunteers and consumers and/or the community.
